About Wolfgang Sladkowski
Irwan Shah Bin Abdullah @ Wolfgang Sladkowski, a German national has 14 years experience in the Internet Travel industry
(eTravel) and 16 years experience in the Global IT industry. He is the mastermind behind this Southeast Asian related website.
 In 1986, he left Germany to join Sino Dragon Industries in Hong Kong as an IT Director. Four years later, he was appointed General Manager for China based Sino Dragon Publishing Co., Ltd. Two years later he joined the publishing arm of China Resources Group, a state enterprise under the Ministry of Foreign Trade & Economic Cooperation in the People's Republic of China as a Senior Marketing Consultant and adviser in opening new markets for CRH in Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
He implemented in addition eTravel projects for hospitality companies such as Dusit Group, Shangri-la Hotel Group, Lufthansa German Airlines, LTU Thailand, Varig Brazilian Airways, Bangkok Airways, Venture Publishing Singapore and Diethelm Travel Indochina. He is fluent in any UNIX flavored operating system and VSAT & CDMA Mobile Networks.
In addition he was an adviser for several years to the chairman of the ERP Taskforce, faculty for e-commerce and related subjects such as m-commerce at the Asian Institute of Technolgy in co-operation with the German Technical Cooperation (GTZ).
He is fluent in German, English and is able to communicate in Thai, Malay and basic Pashto.
During the years he has lived and worked on IT projects in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru, Penang, Bangkok, Phuket, Ho Chi Minh City, London, Vancouver, Sharjah, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Berlin, London and Peshawar.
He currently develops Mobile Applications in Java/XML and distributes those applications mainly in Indonesia, Malaysia and the Middle East.
He is the founder of many sucessful websites such as www.siam.net, www.s-pore.net, www.sino.net, www.asinah.net and www.aseannewsnetwork.com
